What IS eDesign?

You guys hear me talk about eDesign quite a bit, but what the heck is it?
And is it for you?
eDesign is the interior design of a space done entirely online.
eDesign is a way for you to work with me even if you live in another state.
OR, if you live locally –
eDesign is a way for you to get a great design for your room that you can DIY.
eDesign is an affordable way to work with an interior designer.
Ok, but how does eDesign work?
Here is the process, step by step.
1. You contact me and say you would like a design and decorating plan for your room.
2. I’ll send you a link for your very own personal page on my website. This site will be a one-stop shop. It will be where we can communicate with each other. It will be where all of the photos and measurements are. And it will be where you receive the final plan. All in one easy, organized spot.
3. You log in and fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaire is a way for me to figure out your style and find out how you want to use the room.
4. You send me Pictures and measurements of the space.
5. I let you know the price for me to give you a plan.
6. You sign the agreement and make your payment right on the site.
7. Then I get to work on your plan.
8. Once the plan is complete I upload everything right on the site.
You get –
- A detailed shopping list – the list includes pictures, measurements, details, prices and quantities for everything you’re adding to the space. It even has a link so you can just click and order. It also includes paint colors specifically chosen for your room!
- Step by Step written instructions for how to put your room together, where to start, what to do and how to do it. I tell you what to do first, where to put everything, even how and where to hang art and place accessories. It’s like a road map for your room, a To Do List!
- A floor plan of the space. You will see exactly where to put everything from furniture to a vase.
- 3D pictures of the complete space showing everything, including accessories and where they go
- A Mood Board – A mood board shows you pictures of everything on the Shopping List so you can see how everything will look together.
9. Your price even includes 2 revisions of the plan. So if there is anything you don’t like I will find you replacements.
That’s it. Easy Peasy!
eDesign is great if you live out of town and want to work with me. But it’s also great if you live in town, want to work with me but only have a limited budget. You get all of the design expertise for less money. It’s also great if you are a DIYer and like to work on your home on your own, but you need some direction, a plan for what to do.
