I believe that great interior design can change your everyday life. It’s about more than just beauty and function. It’s about creating a home that feels like a warm hug when you walk in after a long day. The details of your home create that feeling of comfort. I believe that interior design should be approachable, not intimidating! My goal is not to make your house a showpiece, but to create a beautiful, comforting space and to see you enjoying it with friends and family.
I’ve been an interior designer and decorating enthusiast for as long as I can remember, and have been getting paid to do it since 2007, when I received my Interior Design Certification from Bay Path University. I’m a frequent speaker and panelist at design events. I’ve spoken for Facebook, been on multiple panels at High Point Market, was an invited guest at The Designer Experience, and was on the designhounds Influencer tour of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
I’m a Houzz influencer, have won multiple Houzz Service Awards, and am a Maria Killam Certified True Colour Expert. I was also a Las Vegas Market Red Carpet Tour attendee. I have done multiple projects with the Make a Wish Foundation. I am a certified member of The Interior Design Society (IDS). I created The Design for Today Collaborative with Debbe Daley and Marianne Cherico. We teach local workshops about the business of design and staging, as well as host a Facebook group by the same name, Design for Today Collaborative. I also run private High Point Market Tours twice a year.
I love sharing interior design advice and ideas. I coach interior designers from around the world. I teach both local and online workshops to interior designers, decorators and home stagers on the business of interior design, and offer free tips on design on my YouTube channel and on my Facebook live show, The Details!

Lyn joined the Details team as an assistant in June of 2022, after ten years as an administrative assistant at a local high school. Since then, she has become the official “Doer of all the Things”. Like Wendy she is a proud Eastern Mass. native who has called Western Mass. home for the past 24 years. With her youngest child almost finished with college, she and her husband are looking forward to beginning their adventure as empty nesters!
When she isn’t on the hunt for a good designer deal, you can find her entertaining her friends and family or creating gorgeous floral arrangements. She’s a fabric hoarder and HGTV binge watcher and is thrilled to be up to her eyeballs in fabrics and furnishings.
