Timeless White Kitchen

This Monson, Massachusetts traditional, colonial kitchen was in need of an update. It was dark and wasn’t functioning properly for the way this family lives. While everyone loves a kitchen island, sometimes, for the best function, a peninsula is a better use of space. We gutted the kitchen and started from scratch. The home had existing hardwood floors in a beautiful butterscotch color. We carried them into the kitchen and they warmed up the light and bright white shaker cabinets and calacatta quartz countertops . We added a gorgeous hand hammered, copper, apron front sink to pull in the floor tone. Then we added some warm wood tones on the open shelving and hand-crafted range hood. Updated lighting finishes off the kitchen creating a bright, functional space that this family loves to cook in.

The kitchen renovation didn’t stop there. These clients had the great idea of using the adjacent room’s closet and turning it into a pantry for the kitchen! We closed up the opening on the other side and created a doorway in the kitchen. We added a glass sliding barn door, some pretty lighting and custom shelving to create the client’s dream pantry.

The Samsung frame tv was also a great addition so that when the tv is off it works as art for the room.

This family is now happily cooking in their new kitchen!
