PAINT IT BLACK!

We hear all the time that painting a room a dark color will make it look smaller. Not true! My answer is always that a dark wall tends to recede. This living room got a bold update!

TROPICAL INSPIRED BEDROOM OASIS

This tropical inspired oasis is actually deep in the woods in western Massachusetts. And, it happens to be Wendy’s. This bedroom was in desperate need of a makeover and 2020 was it’s year!

UPDATED LAKE HOUSE LIVING

When we were called to this beautiful lake house in Ware, Massachusetts I had no idea that Beaver Lake even existed.
The homeowners had recently purchased the house and we’re moving from Connecticut.

TIMELESS WHITE KITCHEN

This Monson, Massachusetts traditional, colonial kitchen was in need of an update. It was dark and wasn’t functioning properly for the way this family lives. While everyone loves a kitchen island, sometimes, for the best function, a peninsula is a better use of space.

TIME FOR AN UPDATE

This Palmer Massachusetts living room hadn’t been touched for a while. It had served this family really well but it was time for some new living room furniture as well as everything else that would pull this room together.

COMING HOME

Working with this Monson, Massachusetts family We got to choosing every piece of furniture, window treatment and decor for the entire cape style house. They like traditional but it was our job to push them a little out of their box toward a more transitional look.

FROM MAN CAVE TO ENTERTAINING OASIS

We chose a fresh, bright color palette that was inspired by nature, lots of yellows, blues and greens. We added Revere Pewter, by Benjamin Moore as the backdrop for the new colorful palette. The neutral, greige paint coordinated with the beautiful, and durable and easy to clean, wood-look laminate floor.

PRETTY & PRACTICAL MODERN FAMILY ROOM

This modern, updated family room got a huge, comfortable sofa in a performance fabric that’s perfect for a family with dogs and kids. The room also includes a large, durable, easy to clean area rug, big enough for kids and dogs to lounge on and even has a round, reclaimed wood coffee table which is a nod to the modern farmhouse look that the clients love.

THE EMPTY NESTER’S DREAM

These empty-nesters were in desperate need of a kitchen update. Why not go for a whole new kitchen, dining room and living room at the same time? We created a cozy space that was in line with the cape style of their home while giving them every amenity they dreamed of.

MAKING A HOUSE A HOME

This family moved from a smaller home. They decided to leave all of their old stuff behind and start fresh. An empty house is not a home. Now it’s a well furnished and perfectly accessorized home!

BEACH HOUSE MASTER BATHROOM

This beach house master bathroom was in need of an update! It didn’t feel like it’s Hilton Head, South Carolina location at all. It was a Tuscan bathroom! You can see the BEFOREs over on our blog page. It was out with the tuscan bathroom and in with the bright, airy, white marble look, gray and white bathroom, perfect for it’s beach location!

MODERN LIFE IN THE WOODS

The setting and the style of the house we got to work choosing a great mix of furnishings, decor & window treatments. We chose a modern area rug and occasional tables. We then chose transitional fabric for the custom 12′ draperies and the custom sofa and chairs.

SEASONAL DECORATING

The holiday season can be so stressful and busy. These clients eased some of their load by hiring Details to create a home that’s perfectly decorated for the seasons!

COMFORTABLE SENIOR LIVING

Although Senior Living communities are commercial properties they need to look and feel like home. The owners wanted this lobby to be a comfortable space that welcomed both current and potential residents in.

IN WITH THE OLD – IN WITH THE NEW

This family wanted a fresh, new living room, but they loved their traditional casegoods. We came up with a beautiful mix of old and new. We incorporated their traditional pieces. And, we chose new pieces that coordinated with the antiques, but still modernized the space. The result? A fresh, bright living room that they can enjoy for years to come!
